Bishop Gregory K. Mullen, Sr.

Bishop Gregory K. Mullen, Sr. was born September 18, 1962, the third child of John and Henrietta Mullen in Gallion, AL. He confessed Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in September of 1970. Growing up as a child, the nickname preacher was pinned on him. In 1983 he heard the voice of God calling him into the ministry. After months of trying to escape this mandate he finally realized he had to submit to what God was saying. He accepted the call and was licensed to preach under the leadership of Pastor Randy Bowden and the Evening Star Baptist Church of Gallion, AL where he grew up. He was later ordained by Pastor Bowden in 1986.

In July 1984 he met the love of his life, Ms. Rosie Jenkins. In July of 1985 they were united in holy matrimony. They have five wonderful children, LaSondra Monique, Gregory Jr., Genesis Simone, Trinity Faith and Miracle Mariah.

Bishop Mullen did theological studies at Selma University and Birmingham Baptist Bible College. He received his Associates of Science Degree from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN. He Received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Pastoral Counseling with a concentration in Psychology from Piedmont International University in Winston Salem, North Carolina Bishop Mullen received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from American Bible University in May 2012. He has acquired over thirty years of Pastoral experience by serving as pastor of the following churches. St. Luke Baptist Church, Gallion, AL, Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Graysville, AL, Fairview Baptist Church Butler, AL and currently The Nest of Love Christian Church, Birmingham, AL, which he and his wife Prophetess Rosie Mullen founded in 2006. He continues to preach and teach the Word of God and lead people to Christ.

Bishop Mullen joined Cornerstone Full Gospel Baptist Church in March of 1997 under the leadership of Bishop Earnest L. Palmer

Pastor Mullen was consecrated to the office of Bishop May 10th, 2008 by Unity Fellowship Alliance International under the leadership of Apostle M. Christopher Wilson, Presiding Prelate. Bishop Mullen realigned with The Full Gospel Baptist church in 2014 and was recently appointed as State Director of Pastors for the state of Alabama by State Bishop Earnest Palmer. 

Bishop Mullen is employed by The Lovelady Center where he serves as Director of Outreach,Counselor and Teacher.
